The Nordic Academy Proficiency Course teaches participants the correct basic technique in a 3 hour intensive learning clinic. It is the best method of acquiring the Nordic Walking technique if attending regular classes is not an option (ideal for those people who have hectic lives or live in remoter areas of Australia!)

Pre-requisites for Participation

Participants should have an adequate fitness level to be able to walk continuously at a moderate pace for at least twenty minutes.

Course Outline

3 hour 'Learn To' clinic includes:           Overview of NW - history and health benefits           Warm up and mobilisation exercises           Acquiring the basic NW technique           Guided Nordic Walking practise           Correction exercises for common technique mistakes           Stretching exercises for NW
